New Chinese restaurant recommended by the J-Man but visited on a Hans Solo expedition by myself. The place is tucked away in the center of what I predict to be a very busy area in the coming years once the new arena is built adjacent to the Montmorency Metro station. Watch out as this area is going to be like a downtown Laval!
Entering the restaurant on a weekday lunch hour it was not very busy and. I had a nice quiet booth to myself. I perused the menu and decided to go with my Chinese comfort food classic Cantonese chow mein. Growing up in a mix ethnic household. CCM was a staple of heading out for dinner when we ate Chinese food. Starting off my meal came with a soup so I had selected their hot n sour soup. Flavour was lacking a little of the hot so I requested sriracha to bring up the flavour. Next was the CCM. The serving was done in typical fashion. Fried noodles with a thick somewhat gluey translucent yet tasty sauce. The dish had a generous serving of vegetables and lots of shrimp. Overall it was a good sized lunch portion and I was satisfied. Pricing on their menu is quite inexpensive and they had a good selection.
Yelper friend Jason mentioned he wants to come back for their $14.99 AYCE lunch buffet. My comments to him is "I'm trying to eat less food than more food these days". I'm trying to avoid buffets as I have little self control. Usually I leave eating far too much food! Maybe one day we shall come for this. Time will tell and a review update shall be had if this happens. Until then. I shall look to order takeout sometime as these people know real deal Chinese cooking.
I asked the guy working there if they were mainland or HK. He mentioned mainland which is my test to see if they are from the old country or somewhere else. Well done and good inexpensive Chinese! -

Came with a group of friends (4 people) for the all you can eat at night. I would strongly suggest to watch your order. We would order 1 roll of maki (4 pieces) and they would bring 6 pieces. Or 2 orders of salmon sashimi (each should have contained 2 pieces = 4 pieces) and they would bring 7. I think they were purposely trying to bring more food than we ordered so that we would be charged extra. I told the waiter and he looked to my group and said "don't worry, you guys will eat it". The issue is we didn't want it. Also a lot of the meat dishes container very little meat. Just be careful with portion sizes when ordering and keep track or what you order.

This is a good restaurant for Chinese food. It offers all you can eat and à la carte Sushi formulas but unfortunately it is not their forte. I liked though the fact that their sushi and makis are not stuffed with too much rice, but just what it takes. However the freshness and the taste are not quite what I expected them to be. Again their forte is Chinese food which taste is excellent especially hot dishes. So if you go there opt for the Chinese dishes rather than the Sushi. They still have to adjust on this side of the cuisine.

I came here for a friends birthday, I liked it but I would only come here if other people wanted to eat here for an event of some kind. We were a large group and went for the buffet menu. Its fine to come with a large group and try a bit of everything. To me it's nothing special, this is the type of restaurant you go with a large family or a bunch of friends for decently cheap food.

Been there a few times during lunch and it's an ok place but nothing special.
The place it clean and the service is ok but not extra friendly. The water is always warm and many times I have to wait so long for extra napkins or even get up to get them myself.
This is an all you can eat sit in buffet but you can also get a "a la carte" option.
The food is good, they have a lot of choices and it is all small portions so it is a nice way to try new things.
